If you’ve read many of my posts, you’ll notice that I often use excerpts of music lyrics (sound bites) to enhance the theme of a post.
The lyrics I use are short and to the point and when music is attached, it becomes sound candy. It may be nostalgic, but the restaurant business has that evocative element with its array of sounds, tastes, and smells. It’s still a business with serious repercussions. The tune becomes the escape that we all need these troubled days.

I accompany a link to my Music Info page that provides my anecdotes and links to YouTube videos of the full song. I always search for a live performance as they mirror the “right now” of running a restaurant.
