BALANCING VENTURES AND PERSONAL LIFE

Ventures and personal life should complement each other. In other words, they should balance one’s life.

Bringing it home

A good rich personal life should improve the business life and vice versa. Bringing the negative elements of one’s business home can counter this and require control.

Restaurant hours can adversely impact the home life as they are long and involve a volatile product of prepared food and liquor. The pressure is unending.

Easier said than done, though. Sometimes discussing the business issues at home can’t help but temper them. The balancing act is precarious.

What’s at stake

The entrepreneur’s sanity is at stake. I’ve recently referred to this in another post: REFLECTION: AN EXERCISE IN SANITY.
