THE LEARNING NEVER ENDS

Being an entrepreneur requires continual learning.

“There’s such a lot for me to learn”

“Caesar Rock” by Paul McCartney

Ignorance is expensive

An entrepreneur can’t afford to stop learning about his associated business or industry, or for that matter, anything. Staying on top of the fast-paced changes in the world will promote continual growth in abilities and know-how. Better decisions will be a given.

Keeping on top

This involvement is also what keeps entrepreneurs young and energized. Both are significant attributes in a business that is as demanding as foodservice. The creativity, pace, and hours demand it. “You snooze, you lose” was never so applicable.

As noted in a previous post, the learning curve for this blog was steeper than I could have ever imagined. But I’ve stayed patient and accepted that this would take time. The satisfaction comes from the engagement of a blog. My potential audience as a restaurateur pales in comparison to what a blog can offer. Another lesson acknowledged.

There is still such a lot for me to learn.
